The
Name of Arasan has been closely associated with the manufacture
and export of matches, fireworks and printing for more than five decades
in India.
Aluminium
powder, the basic raw material for fireworks, rocket propellants,
slurry explosives was being imported previously from foreign countries
by all Indian Industries, considering the increasing demand of aluminium
powder, the foundation for the industrial metal powder programme was
laid in 1980 by Sri.A.M.S.Ganesan, founder and establisher
of the Arasan Group of Industries, at Melamathur village in Sivakasi
Taluk (12Kms from Sivakasi - 'Mini Japan'), Tamilnadu, India
with the installation of equipments for producing 15o mt. of pyrotechnic
aluminium powder per annum and further expansions were made in 1984,
1985 for producing 1,200 mt. per annum.
Our
sincere comittments to quality excellence achieved in establishing
fireworks industries in the style of "We Two Fireworks Industries".
By our founder Shri.A.M.S.Ganesan, due to his vast experience
in fireworks. Fireworks Industry was established in the year 1987.
Our promotors long experience and un-uncompromising attitude on
Quality, the We Two Fireworks Industry in a short duration.
ARASAN A.M.S.GANESAN, Founder of ARASAN GROUP, established
SAFETY MATCH INDUSTRY as prime unit at Sivakasi in 1954.
With the tireless efforts of Management we promoted our group with
the manufacture of standard k itchen, vesta, wax, windproof, damp
proof, fuse and colour safety matches and we are marketing in the
indigenous remunerative areas. Our new invention in safety matches
is our 'GEYES' Brand during 2001. We are manufacturing and
marketing Veneers, Cardboard, Wax and Household kitchen safety matches.
Our Export Division in the style of Arasan international excel the
challenges in the changing scenarion under GLOBALISATION OF NEW
MILLENNIUM BY EXPORTING safety matches to the African Market,
Latin American Market and European Market.
